Before and After

A logical holiday extension to your Hawke’s Bay conference would be a self-drive journey around East Cape and up through the Coromandel, or down to Wellington and the Marlborough wine region.

Try these driving routes:

	Auckland - Whakatane - Napier (5 Days) The Pacific Coast Highway is a touring route that links Hawke’s Bay to Auckland. For much of the way the road hugs the coast, delivering large amounts of dramatic ocean scenery. Divert to Coromandel Peninsula along the way, for a day or two of beach life.
	Napier -Wellington - Blenheim (3 Days) A love of fine wine will drive you to choose this route. Taste fine wines from Hawke's Bay, Martinborough and Marlborough. This route is also known as the Classic New Zealand Wine Trail.

	Hawke's Bay Accommodation The region boasts a full range of facilities, from boutique lodges with boardrooms through to huge sports arenas that can cater for large gatherings.

Getting Here

	Plane: There are daily direct flights to Napier from Auckland and Wellington. Charter services are also readily available.
	Bus/Car: You can travel by coach or rental car - the journey takes around 6 hours from Auckland and 4 hours from Wellington.
